Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Greg Minnaar(SRAM/RockShox) reels it in for his third win of the season in Bromont, Canada winning his 11th career UCI downhill race in the 111th UCI World Cup Series event. His brilliant race run eclipsed the times of Fabien Barel, Sam Hill, Gee Atherton and Aaron Gwin for a big win this weekend under sunny skies on a rugged race track. Steve Peat makes a costly mistake and comes 7th, and Josh Bryceland steps it up and places 9th.
Dry weather prevailed and the sun came out today to shine on Santa Cruz Syndicate’s Greg Minnaar (SRAM/RockShox), as he grabs his second Nissan UCI Downhill win of the season with the stamp of conviction to his run. He topped the leader board 1.45 seconds ahead of 2nd place Sam Hill. Josh Bryceland had a smoking run and placed 7th, his best result this year. He finished just behind a disappointed Steve Peat in 6th. Rounding out the top five was Sam Blenkinsop in 3rd, followed by Gee Atherton and Mick Hannah.

Greg Minnaar comes 2nd and Steve Peat finishes 3rd at the World Cup Downhill in Bromont. It was a bittersweet podium for the Syndicate at the Nissan UCI Downhill World Cup race in Bromont, Quebec as Sam Hill snatched the win from Greg and Steve, yet young Josh Bryceland retains the junior overall leader’s jersey and the Syndicate leads the overall team classification in the downhill.

Santa Cruz Syndicate had a great romp at the UCI World Cup downhill at Mt. Ste. Anne, Quebec today with Greg Minnaar taking the win in the men’s race and becoming the new overall leader. Josh Bryceland took over the overall lead in the junior men and placed 15th overall in elite, and the Syndicate keeps the lead in the overall team classification. Steve Peat has been on every world cup podium this year and stood in 4th position today and Nathan Rennie had a solid run to finish 7th.
